The Pocinho High-Performance Centre (CAR), promoted by the Municipality of Vila Nova de Foz Côa, is a facility dedicated to water sports, with a particular focus on rowing and canoeing, among other disciplines.
Already established as a benchmark in high-level competition, both nationally and internationally, the CAR can accommodate up to 159 athletes in excellent facilities, offering spectacular views and a unique landscape setting, across an area of 8,000 m2.
In addition to its focus on training and sports practice, including adaptive sports, the CAR is equipped with all the necessary conditions to host a range of events, both nationally and internationally, and includes accommodation, social and training areas.
A400’s intervention in this sports facility focused on the design and development of the steel structures project for the training area building, the social area building, and the connecting corridor.
