Huambo Stadium is located in a central area of the city, in the vicinity of prominent infrastructure, including the Huambo Regional Hospital, the Higher Polytechnic Institute of Humanities and Technologies, and the Huambo Media Library and Library.
The design of this stadium marks a significant advancement in Angola’s sports infrastructure. With a capacity for 10,000 spectators and equipped with a tartan track and other sports facilities, this stadium, designed without a roof, was engineered to meet strict FIFA criteria, enabling international matches with full television broadcasting capabilities.
