Civil Engineer – Structural Design Engineer

About the opportunity

Are you looking for a Structural Design Engineer vacancy in Porto where you can develop projects from concept and structural analysis through to modelling and coordination in a BIM environment?

At A400, you will work on the development of structural and foundation projects, in coordination with different Engineering and Architecture disciplines, and follow the solutions throughout the various project phases.

This Structural Design Engineer vacancy in Porto is intended for civil engineers with at least 3 years of experience, training in Structures, and an interest in continuing to deepen technical skills in a multidisciplinary context.

Your role at A400

• Develop Structural and Foundation projects;
• Participate in the design, analysis, and development of structural solutions;
• Develop and oversee project modelling in a BIM environment;
• Prepare the technical documentation required for the different project phases;
• Work in coordination with the other Engineering and Architecture disciplines;
• Contribute to the coordination and integration of solutions;
• Ensure compliance with technical requirements and the deadlines defined for the projects.

What we are looking for in you

• Integrated Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structures specialisation;
• Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in the development and design of structural and foundation projects;
• Modelling experience in BIM software;
• Ability to work as part of a team;
• Strong sense of responsibility and results orientation;
• Organisational skills and commitment to deadlines;
• Availability to travel.

The following will be valued:

• Knowledge of Revit.
