Are you looking for a Junior Electrical Design Engineer position in Porto where you can continue to build experience in the design and development of Electrical Installations projects?
At A400, you will take part in projects that integrate different technical systems, working in coordination with other Engineering and Architecture disciplines and developing solutions in a multidisciplinary environment.
This Junior Electrical Design Engineer position in Porto is intended for professionals with at least 2 years of experience in Electrical Installations, Telecommunications, Fire Safety and Centralised Technical Management projects, who wish to deepen their technical skills and progressively gain greater autonomy.
Your role at A400
- Participate in the preparation and development of Electrical Installations projects;
- Carry out design, calculation and preparation tasks for the various project elements;
- Participate in the development of Telecommunications, Fire Safety and Centralised Technical Management solutions within the scope of the projects;
- Develop technical drawings in AutoCAD;
- Work in coordination with the other Engineering and Architecture disciplines;
- Contribute to the coordination and compatibility of solutions;
- Participate in the development of projects in a BIM environment, when applicable;
- Contribute to meeting the defined technical requirements and deadlines.
What we are looking for in you
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering;
- Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience developing projects in Electrical Installations, Telecommunications, Fire Safety and Centralised Technical Management;
- Ability to carry out design, calculation and project development tasks with autonomy appropriate to your experience;
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD;
- Ability to work as part of a team;
- Sense of responsibility, organisation and results orientation;
- Commitment to project objectives and deadlines;
- Fluency in English.

- Knowledge and experience in BIM technologies.
