At the 9th edition of Porto Urban Rehabilitation Week, held from 23 to 25 November in the Archive Room at the Alfândega do Porto Congress Centre, the event returned in an in-person format.
Over three intensive days, the key topics in Portugal’s construction and real estate sectors were explored.
One of the focal points addressed was the impact of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) on the housing market, highlighting the importance of European funds to drive urban development and tackle the challenges of access to housing.
A400’s presence at this event was particularly relevant, standing out as one of the leading companies committed to innovative and sustainable solutions in urban rehabilitation.
The participation not only enriched the debate on best practices in the sector, but also strengthened strategic partnerships and collaborations with other public and private entities.
In addition, the discussion on the build-to-rent market, exploring alternatives to increase the supply of affordable housing through the municipal programme “Porto com Sentido”, reinforced the importance of initiatives that can respond to the growing demand for housing in the city of Porto.
The conference “Investing in build-to-rent to create affordable housing in Porto”, co-organised by Vida Imobiliária, CBRE and Porto Vivo SRU, stood out as one of the main events, promoting innovative ideas and sustainable practices for the future of the real estate sector.
In summary, A400’s participation in Porto Urban Rehabilitation Week not only contributed to the sector’s progress, but also reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable and inclusive urban development, essential to addressing current and future challenges in housing and urban infrastructure in Portugal.
